The STG92689 Starter Motor is a heavy-duty replacement starter designed for Perkins 4006 and 4008 series diesel engines used in generator sets, industrial machinery, marine equipment, and power generation applications.

This starter motor replaces OEM references 701/133, OD21858/2, MS7-303A, and 857739Z and features a Prestolite MS7 series gear reduction starter design. It delivers powerful 24V 9KW starting performance with 12-tooth pinion gear, clockwise (CW) rotation, insulated return, and SAE3 mounting configuration, providing high cranking torque for large-displacement diesel engines.
