Product Description

The STG91252 Starter Motor is a marine-grade replacement starter designed for Volvo Penta gasoline marine engines, including 3.0GS, 3.0GL, 5.7Xi, 7.4GI, and 7.4GSI engine applications.

This starter motor replaces OEM references 3857747, 3860566, 3885317, 8000282, and 9000884 and provides dependable 12V starting performance with an 11-tooth pinion gear and clockwise (CW) rotation. It is designed for Volvo Penta inboard and sterndrive engines using GM-based 4-cylinder, V6, and V8 marine engines.

Built with a Delco PG260-style gear reduction design, STG91252 delivers strong cranking torque, efficient power transfer, and reliable ignition performance in marine environments.
